A Need for Ideas

I need to correct this sign. This is what it should say: "This Blogger took more than a MONTH off." There. Now that I have raved at myself....
I want to mention a very sweet little business called Shabby Blog . This website is a place to get very cute and "shabby" blog backgrounds, blinkie's, and more. The best thing is (drumrole please): it's all free! I have already been getting tired of my background I have on and I like to change mine often. So I decided to change it to this background. Its called "Beautiful Dreamer" and its from Shabby Blogs. Let me know what any of you think.
Also, I have been running out of ideas for posts and I was wandering what any of you thought.
Just leave me a comment with any ideas y'all have.

A Wonderful Afternoon (posted a bit late)

Yes, I know, I have not posted in a very long time. I keep thinking about what I am going to write, start something, and I can't finish it. So, I have decided to try some pictures.

I have recently had the very great priveledge of having a Afternoon Tea in honor of my 13th Birthday. First of all I would like to thank my parents for putting so much work into the party.( and believe me it is a lot of work :) I will now post some pictures.

My parents and I.

Some of the delicous food, and a few decorations.

The beautiful cake.

Mommy giving a brief history on the Afternoon tea.

Trey , the second oldest, but the oldest boy, of our home.

Nathan, the middle child of us children.

Ryan the youngest boy.

Me (What kind of, so called "smile" is that?), the oldest of us children.

Ashlyn the youngest (looking a little messy, but oh well).

A family picture of us all.

With this picture I will end. I think this is enough pictures for one post, don't you?

I am thinking: Nothing, just laughing from a joke my brother told me. :)

I am thankful for: The lovely weather

From the kitchen: Nothing, we just finished lunch.

I am wearing: A flowing, brown, skirt, with a short sleeve pink shirt.

I am reading: Bible, The Lord Of the Rings Books, Three Musketeers, and Five Little Peppers series books.

I am hoping: That we can get together with friends tonight.

I am hearing: A Movie, and the soft hum of the laptop.

Another Giveaway...

Yes, another giveaway on one of my favorite bloggers, Joyfully at Home. This time, it is Her Father's new book What he Must Be.

All parents want their daughters to marry godly young men. But which
qualities, specifically, should they be looking for? What will you say when that certain young man sits down in your living room, sweaty-palmed and tongue-tied, and asks your permission to marry your daughter? What criteria should he meet before the two of them join together for life? What He Must Be… If He Wants to Marry My Daughter outlines ten qualities parents should look for in a son-in-law, including trustworthiness, a willingness to lead his family, an understanding of his wife’s role, and various spiritual leadership qualities. Author Voddie Baucham follows up on his popular book Family Driven Faith with this compelling apologetic of biblical manhood. By studying the principles outlined in his book, parents who want their daughter to marry a godly man—as well as those who want their sons to become godly men—will be well equipped to help their children look for and develop these God-honoring qualities.

The giveaway ends Friday, the thirteenth of March. Please stop by her blog and enter.

Happy Valentine's Day

1 Corinthians 13
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing.4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Happy Valentine's Day!
