Nathan turns nine years old today! He is so responsible and loves to do tasks for other people. He has changed so much since last year, except for his adorable red hair and light blue eyes. I don't know what we all would do without him there to make us laugh. I love him very much!
In Him,
Thoughts, ideas, inspirations, lessons learned, things discovered... I could go on and on. Basically, this is a blog about the life of a daughter of the Lord Jesus Christ sharing what she loves, and trying to serve Him in all that she does.

Happy Birthday Daddy!
Happy Birthday Daddy!
Today marks the day of my wonderful Daddy's Birthday. He is pretty-near-close to perfect in my eyes. :)
My ten favorite things about my Daddy...
1. His devotion to teaching us about the Lord. He is always trying to find ways to bring a lesson into everyday life.
2. The way he laughs. :) I love it when Daddy laughs. Especially when he can't stop. His face completely changes. :)
3. His faith in Jesus. Daddy is such a strong believer. It shows every day that he is committed to being more like Jesus.
4. His humor. Daddy is so funny sometimes! He knows exactly what to say to make a person laugh.
5. His sensitivity towards others. He is always looking out for other people, and he knows when they need encouragement.
6. The way he gets excited about something. He is so adorable when he gets excited. :) He starts talking quickly and waving his hands around.
7. His ability to work hard. Daddy is such a hard worker. He does not stop until the job is done.
8. The way he corrects me when I am wrong. Isn't it funny that I like this about my Daddy? :)
9. The way he is humble. Daddy is almost never boasting about himself.
10. Best of all, I love my Daddy, because he is my Daddy! I could not think of having a different Daddy. I am so glad that God allowed my Mommy to marry my Daddy!

Snow Again!
It snowed again! In Texas! This is a record for Texas it has snowed four times here. This time it got up to eight inches. I took several pictures. But I will spare you all of them. :)
Everything looks so beautiful under a blanket of snow.
Nathan and I. It was pretty cold while we were taking this pictures.
This was our snowman, it was a little taller than Daddy! Trey is posing next to it.
Ryan, Ashlyn, and Nathan wanted to make another smaller snowman. This was the beginning of it. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the finished product.
Trey and Nathan rolling a ball of snow. We were working on building a fort. I think we rolled around eight of these not including the snowman.

Still in progress...
Finished! Ashlyn, Ryan, and Nathan are posing behind it. This was one base. We built another one on the other side so we could have a snowball fight.

I didn't ever want to forget the snow is why I took so many pictures. I was glad to have snow, but now that it is over I'm ready for Spring!
